Our online GS format is an extended version offering 30 hours of instruction over 10 days. (as opposed to 20 over 4 days in person). Which offers more time for individual feedback, story telling about steps and history, student and instructor led drills and more!
Join Carolena and her team of advanced instructors for Online General Skills for FCBD®Style.
This newly formatted 30-hour certification training will take place online via Zoom on October 12 – October 22, 2023. The course will cover FCBD®Style movements and concepts documented on instructional DVDs Volumes 1-7.
Dates and times are as follows:
Orientation – October 12th (Thursday) 9am – 11am PST
October 13 (Friday) – October 22nd (Sunday) 9am – 12pm PST

Participants must attend all 30 hours of the live online course, complete all homework assignments, and abide by all course terms and conditions. No exceptions. Upon completion of the course, graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion.
To ensure the best experience for participants, registration is limited to 20 people.
General Skills Certification:
Graduates who wish to receive their General Skills Certification will be required to pass a final exam to demonstrate proficiency in FCBD®Style vocabulary and concepts. Testing is optional and is not required to receive a Certificate of Completion, but General Skills Certification is a pre-requisite for acceptance into Teacher Training for FCBD®Style.
Prerequisites: Participants should have a working knowledge of belly dance. A minimum of one year of studying FCBD®Style is strongly recommended.
Participants must be proficient in English or must provide their own interpreter with prior approval from the instructors.

If you register but are unable to attend, you may receive a refund (less processing fees) if we are able to transfer your registration to a participant on the waitlist. Please notify us as soon as possible at certifiedstudio@fcbd.com so that we can handle the transfer.
Limit ONE registration per person. Registrations cannot be shared whether in person or by sharing the Zoom link.
The training must be attended live. Recordings of any kind are strictly prohibited.
